The pathogenic bacteria residing in our mouths

Just another fascinating bit of info, well I hope you find it that too.

Our gut bacteria is not only influenced by what we eat or don’t eat, but influenced strongly by whether we have pathogenic bacteria in our mouths.
As our mouth is moist and warm, it is the perfect place for bacteria to thrive and multiply.  So no matter how often or thoroughly we brush, floss or rinse our mouths with special mouth washes, bacteria thrive and multiply.
The human mouth has over 600 types of bacteria thriving in it, estimated amount is 10 billion. – Wow!  The human body never ceases to amaze me.
Brushing teeth only reaches 60 per cent of the surface of the teeth leaving much in-between the teeth.  The intestine is home to 100 trillion bacteria, and many of the bacteria living in our mouths reside as well in our gut.  But its the pathogenic ones we are concerned about. But our saliva is our teeth’s saving grace, as without it our teeth would rot and our mouths would be covered in infections. As well as this it contains a mixture of enzymes used for digestion, buffers and antibodies to fight off disease. When we stop brushing, bacteria left behind resettles on our teeth and gums, but by finishing off with oil pulling, 100 percent of the surface of the mouth is reached, thereby affecting all bacteria, viruses and fungi and protozoa residing in the mouth.

Now a little on quite a contentious topic…Fluoride.  Consuming fluoride through our water has detrimental effects on the human cell.  Firstly, it is a common industrial pollutant that can kill both plants and animals.  According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture, fluoride has caused more worldwide damage to domestic animals than any other air pollutant. (refer to case in 1960 – 1970 of mass poisoning by Reynolds Metals Company and Alcoa on a Mohawk Indian reservation).
After three years of intensive research the National Research Council concluded that Fluoride can subtly alter endocrine function, especially in the thyroid – our organ that produces hormones regulating growth and metabolism, and just look at the mass of thyroid problems taking the world by storm, even affecting our young children!
And then we pop over to the Chief Chemist at the National Cancer Institute who testified that over 40 000 cancer deaths yearly are attributed to fluoridation in our water and personal hygiene products. Staggering and detailed numbers like this stop me in my tracks.
The way fluoride works is: by causing genetic damage- and funny this …Proctor and Gamble who make Crest toothpaste have research showing that 1 ppm fluoride causes genetic damage,  but this has never been published.  Even small amounts damage the brain and affects mental development in children as well as damaging and destroying hundreds of enzymes in our bodies.

So here’s the catch…no amount of toothpaste will kill bacteria, but the right ones certainly aids in good dental health.
Now to the very simple miracle….that of Oil Pulling.
It has its origins in Ayurvedic  medicine in India – dating back over 2000 years ago.  Practitioners are finding that many systemic diseases, some as complex as diabetes may be cured.  This technique of swirling and sucking with coconut oil for 20 minutes 2x day then spitting it out and rinsing mouth well, has been presented to groups of oncologist (cancer specialist) and bacteriologists.  See research by Dr. Karach.and years of articles by Mr. Rao. And further scientific studies published in the Journal of Oral Health and Community Dentistry in Belgaum.

So I would love to run a study on as many people as would wish to trial this.
Simply write to me and tell me what health problems you are facing and if you are seeing a doctor, that they have been notified of you swirling coconut oil in the mouth for 20 minutes 2x day.
So far the feed back from people is so powerful.  From teeth just being whiter to oral candida healing, post root canal complications, abscess, allergies, asthma, joint stiffness, hormonal, sleep issues, headaches, fibromyalgia and many other conditions.  Well it really is simple, pathogenic  bacteria being swallowed creates all sorts of health problems, but clean out these pathogens and we lower the risk of other dis-eases beginning.

Happy healthy bugs to you all!
